Danish queen of country Tamra Rosanes opened the exhibit Energetic September with a bang. 350 locals found their way to Limfjordscenter at Doverodde to participate in the opening of Energetic September.

It was a bright and sunny evening in Hundborg the 20th of april. This caused some concern among the organizers of Energetic Citizens of Thy. Spring and beautiful weather normally mean that house owners mend their gardens and farmers work the fields. Luckily 20 people showed up in the local village hall to talk about energy related local initiatives.

The second meeting for Energetic Citizens of Thy was kept in Hørdum and revealed a strong desire for a local production and assembly of small wind turbines for business and education.

Thursday the 5th of March the municipality of Thisted was host to The Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs’ After-Hours Climate Meeting for North Jutland which outlined the challenges of COP15.

“The Energetic Citizens of Thy” will kick start local innovations through five village hall meetings and an inspirational newspaper.
